Your Vaishno Devi Yatra starts from Amritsar with a comfortable drive towards Katra. We provide well-maintained taxis and tempo travellers, suitable for families, small groups, and large group tours. The journey takes around 6–7 hours, offering beautiful views all along the highway. After reaching Katra, check in to your hotel, relax, and spend the evening exploring the local market or resting for the next day’s trek.
Start early in the morning from Banganga, where the official trek begins. The 12–13 km path is a mix of steep and plain stretches, passing through sacred points like Adhkuwari, Himkoti, and Sanjhi Chhat. Pilgrims can choose from options such as ponies, palkis, and battery cars according to their comfort. Upon reaching the Bhawan, offer prayers and seek blessings at the holy shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi. After darshan, return to Katra by trek or battery car and rest at your hotel.
For travellers who wish to extend their pilgrimage, we offer a full-day trip to Shivkhori, a naturally formed cave temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. You can hire our taxis or tempo travellers for this optional excursion. The cave’s spiritual atmosphere and unique rock formations make it a memorable visit. After darshan, return to Katra and unwind at your hotel.
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Amritsar.
